چکیده

This study investigates the potential of golden shower foliage (GSF) fermentable sugars for sustainable bioethanol production. Utilizing chemical and biological pretreatments involving agents such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH), calcium oxide (CaO), Trichoderma reesei. The research analyzed various aspects including reducing sugar coefficient, total sugar, degree polymerization (DP), derived energy. Results underscored efficacy a 3% NaOH solution over 72 hours in maximizing energy concentration, facilitating efficient lignocellulosic biomass conversion into sugar. However, economic viability large-scale deployment poses challenge, directing attention to cost-benefit incorporating CaO due its affordability compared without notably diminishing output efficiency. role T. reesei, notable entity decomposition staple biofuel production, was also highlighted. further delved complexity carbohydrate structures significant polymerization, influencing classification carbohydrates based on their monomer count. Therefore, this approach is cost competitiveness pretreatment hydrolysis phase hurdle.

Production of Fermentable Sugars by Combined Chemo-enzymatic Hydrolysis of Cellulosic Material for Bioethanol Production

To change the recalcitrant nature of the lignocellulosic material for maximum hydrolysis yield, a comprehensive study was done by using sulphuric acid as an exclusive catalyst for the pretreatment process. The enzymatic digestibility of the biomass [Water Hyacinth: Eichhornia crassipes] after pretreatment was determined by measuring the hydrolysis yield of the pretreated material obtained from ...

Fermentable sugars by chemical hydrolysis of biomass.

Abundant plant biomass has the potential to become a sustainable source of fuels and chemicals. Realizing this potential requires the economical conversion of recalcitrant lignocellulose into useful intermediates, such as sugars. We report a high-yielding chemical process for the hydrolysis of biomass into monosaccharides. Adding water gradually to a chloride ionic liquid-containing catalytic a...
